Monday through Thursday, we explore ideas from authors, thought leaders, and exemplary organizations. On Friday, I share something about myself or what we are working on at PCI.
The last several Fridays (Feb 3rd, Feb 10th, and Feb 17th), we have created our “Life’s Board of Directors.” We’ve identified the people who’ve had the biggest impact on our lives. Who supported us. Believed in us.
Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are.
2: The question for today is: Does each person on our list know what a huge difference they made in our lives?
Unless we’ve told them, probably not.
So, here’s what we are going to do. Here’s the immensely rewarding part.
We tell them.
We can tell them in person.
We can call them on the phone.
We can write a handwritten letter. Or dash off an email.
Whatever the medium, the point is: We tell them. We tell them why and how they made such an impact on our lives. We share the words of encouragement they shared with us at a critical moment.
Or the shared experience we will never forget.
3: We don’t need to over-complicate it. We just speak from our hearts. We are intentional about seizing this opportunity to express our gratitude.
The key? Don’t wait.
Tell them before it’s too late.
